Traveling by electric power in non-electrified sections

Diesel locomotives have been used to travel non-electrified sections. SCiB™ makes it possible for trains to travel only with electric power because trains with SCiB™ can be rapidly charged during limited electrified sections and it can effectively collect and use regenerative energy during non-electrified sections.
