Since SCiB™ can maintain high input/output performance regardless of the SOC, you can use your cells from SOC 0% to 100%.
On the other hand, as for conventional Li-ion batteries, input/output performance can change depending on the SOC. Also, the usable SOC range is limited to prevent capacity deterioration. This will require you to install more battery capacity than you originally need.
SCiB™ will not need you to put a limit to its usable SOC range and will not require oversizing battery capacity. This allows you to design battery packs efficiently.
